Elizabeth Siemens appointed principal at Rochester School

Aspen View Public Schools is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Siemens has been appointed principal at Rochester School for the 2019-20 School year.

Elizabeth has taught at Rochester School since 2014, and served as Assistant Principal during the 2018-19 school year. Prior to joining Aspen View, Elizabeth spent 10 years working with Pembina Hills Regional Division at R.F. Staples Secondary School in Westlock and the Alberta Distance Learning Centre.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary; a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta; and recently earned a Post-Bachelor Certificate in Educational Research from the University of Calgary as part of her Master of Education program.

“Eighteen years ago, I moved to the Rochester area with no idea how much this small community would change my life,” she commented. “Today, my goal is for students of Rochester School to be offered the very best education possible in a welcoming, caring, respectful and safe learning environment.”

Elizabeth’s passion for Rochester School students, parents, staff and community will continue to grow in her leadership position.
